Instructions for preparation and submission of final manuscript (Oral and Poster Papers):

  • Step 1: Add all the authors : Please ensure that all the authors are included in your EDAS account before submission of final manuscript.
  • Step 2: Submission of the copyright form : Before uploading your final camera-ready manuscript, use the copyright submission (©) on the EDAS and upload the scanned copyright form. The copyright form is available here download copyright form. Please take the printout of the form, fill in the details (Complete list of Authors, Paper Title) and sign (one of the authors) wherever it is required and scan it and convert it into pdf. Kindly upload the scanned copyright form through EDAS account before submitting the camera-ready manuscript.
    IEEE Publication Title: 2018 20th National Power Systems Conference (NPSC).
  • Step 3: Preparation of camera-ready paper : Camera-ready manuscript should not exceed 6 pages in length (NO BIOGRAPHY AT THE END), and follow the IEEE template for preparing the final manuscript.
    • Authors are strongly recommended to incorporate the reviewer suggestions for publishing on IEEE Xplore.
    • Insert the Copyright Notice in the final manuscript: All papers should contain the appropriate copyright clearance code notice at the bottom of the first page, according to the guidelines set forth in the Cataloging/Copyright Instructions for an IEEE Conference Proceedings.
      • For papers in which all authors are employed by the US government, the copyright notice is: U.S. Government work not protected by U.S. copyright.
      • For papers in which all authors are employed by a Crown government (UK, Canada, and Australia), the copyright notice is: 978-1-5386-6159-8/18/$31.00 ©2018 Crown
      • For papers in which all authors are employed by the European Union, the copyright notice is: 978-1-5386-6159-8/18/$31.00 ©2018 European Union
      • For all other papers the copyright notice is: 978-1-5386-6159-8/18/$31.00 ©2018 IEEE
      • The following latex commands can be used to insert the IEEE copyright notice (which is listed in the last bullet above) in your paper.
        Add these before the "\maketitle" command

      • To see where the copyright notice will appear in the paper, click on the following sample paper.
  • Step 4: Verifying PDF eXpress Compatability: The paper should be converted to IEEE compatible pdf format by using IEEE PDF eXpress available at the link http://www.pdf-express.org. Use Conference ID: 44254X. If you do not have account in PdfeXpress, select the "New Users - Click here" link in the website and fill in the required informations. To know more about PDF eXpress Click Here. If your manuscript clears the IEEE PDF eXpress check, you will receive an approved PDF file from IEEE PDF eXpress via email. Ensure that the document properties has a PDF eXpress stamp 'Certified by IEEE PDFeXpress at [date] [time]'.
  • Step 5: Submission of Final Manuscript: Submit the final version of the camera ready paper before due submission deadline at EDAS Paper Submission Link

  • Note:
      1. Authors are fully responsible for the plagarism of the final manuscript to be uploaded in IEEE Xplore.
      2. Both oral and poster will be submitted for inclusion in IEEE Xplore.

    Author Registration:

      1. Complete the submission of copyright and final manuscript.
      2. Indian delegates are requested to make the fee payment via SB Collect (registration page link). After payment of the registration fee, save the proof of the payment as a pdf file.
      3. Foriegn delegates are requested to make the fee payment via online Transfer (registration page link). After payment of the registration fee, save the proof of the payment as a pdf file. Fill the payment form and send an email to "payment.npsc2018@gmail.com" attaching the payment receipt and form.
    Note:
      1. In order to include the accepted paper in the final program and the proceedings, at least one author must register separately for each accepted paper on or before 20 Novemeber 2018. Please note that one registration fee will cover only one participant for one paper.
      2. Accepted papers without registration or copyright form or camera ready manuscript will not appear in the final program and in the proceedings.
